Watercolours are primarily utilised by artists in a translucent manner. However, contrary to this, Pervaneh uses watercolour to create a depth in her paintings that is not normally associated with this medium. From her earliest years as an artist, Pervaneh has retained a distinctive method and style, specialising in monochrome painting using the colour sepia.
A further innovative step developed by Pervaneh is the use of superior line board in place of watercolour paper. This further enhances the three dimentionality of her work.
